Autumn is here….
Thankfully, the new season has brought much needed rain. Praise the gods. My watch tells me to the nearest minute when the rain will arrive. Unfortunately the capricious weather god doesn’t seem to have read the memo. Instead of arriving … Continue reading

Catch Up…
This is how he wants things. He is the centre of the world’s attention. So yes of course I have made a DJT drawing. It is impossible to remove him from any conversation. Before any Trump hater in the USA … Continue reading

All Yours…
I know. I know. I should have been doing this all along. But I wasn’t. Instead I was captured by the digital beast. So over the past day or so I have returned to just doodling in a sketchbook. It … Continue reading
Puzzling Experiment…
Creating art requires time, patience, and dedication. However, in today’s fast-paced world, many artists struggle to find the time to fully immerse themselves in their creative processes. The demands of daily life, work, and other responsibilities often take precedence, leaving … Continue reading

New Year…
Tis the season for new beginnings or so we are told. Actually New Year, as we celebrate it [spoiler alert: I don’t] is a modern confection. There is nothing significant about the change between 31st of December to the 1st … Continue reading

Housebound…
I am the first to admit that I am one of the world’s worst patients. I am semi house bound at the moment. I spend a significant amount of my time with my leg resting on a stool. It is … Continue reading

One More Day…
Only one more full day of my self imposed seclusion. Hurrah! I have used the time well I think having pulled together my yearbook for 2023. What I didn’t notice until after finishing the book and sending it to the … Continue reading

I don’t Know What Will Happen…
Should any US citizen ever come to read this they would rightly ask the question ‘what the hell does a Brit know about US Politics?’ And they would be right – up to a point. That point I suspect is … Continue reading
Oh dear..that was a shame…
I have just finished watching the latest Star Wars TV series ‘The Acolyte‘ and I have to say it really didn’t work for me. This is a shame because I wanted it work but it didn’t. Now of course I … Continue reading
