The crazy world of the garden is now in full swing. All around there is teeming life. The bees are a buzzing. Our first chicks have flown the nest. (That we know of)

And we have a new visitor to the garden. Although he is a messy eater. (You might not be able to see that on a small screen.)

BTW…I don’t know why he flew when he did. I had been standing where I was for at least five minutes before he took exception to my being there. Great Spotted Woodpeckers – prima donnas!
