Well I think this proves that one should keep one’s mouth shut. Yesterday my only solace was that it wasn’t snowing. Today I don’t even have that. This is all caused by high pressure over Norway which is happily sucking cold air down from the Arctic and Siberia which means that the pleasant springs we get in England are replaced by the hard rapacious winters we should get given how close we are to the Arctic circle.
I could, of course, make a cheap joke about ‘…so much for global warming…’ but climate change is a much longer term thing than just seasonal weather variations. That being said seasonal unpredictability is another aspect of climate change so perhaps this might be a symptom after all. Great!
