This is a better photo of the oil pastel drawing/painting (I never know where drawing ends and painting begins?) and I am still quite pleased with the result. It is not how I would want the final painting(?) to look like but as a stepping stone to something better then I am more than satisfied.

This is the latest in the development project I am working on over the holidays. This is a mixed media painting of ink, professional marker pen and oil pastels and as I write this I am really quite pleased with the result. The image here doesn’t really do the final result justice as there is a blue cast to the colour. Nonetheless it would seem that the project is starting to pay dividends.
