At this time of year, especially given the weather over the past couple of weeks, I always find the daffodil lifts my spirits. The dafs are now starting to show in the garden and the sun is starting the shine, although the cold wind from the east persists, and you finally get the feeling the winter is starting to give way. Of course by this afternoon we could have snow and I’ll be under a glum cloud again but until that happens I’m going to try and be positive. Thanks, in part, to the daffodil.
