Testing, testing…123…

Another day in the field. That really makes thing sound like I was marching to battle. The truth was much more mundane. I took a walk around a suburban park set amoungst a series of former gravel pits in very welcome spring sunshine. Such a hardship.

I was even a knight in shining armour when I helped a young mother who’s young daughter had been spooked by the three brutes above. It was a lot less dramatic than it sounds but I did my part. BTW the birds above are harmless just annoying. Of course that is easy to say when you are a burly 6 foot 3 inches. It is completely different when you are just two years old.

Still I must have cut a strange sight as smashing through the undergrowth trying capture an illusive photograph. Stiff back, dodgy knees and generally dishevelled all for a photograph of a robin. Still I didn’t care abit I was enjoying myself.
