Yesterday it was announced that Britain’s favourite music to be cremated to was Monty Python’s Always look on the bright side of life.  At least I think it was as I didn’t get further that read the headlines so it may well have been something completely different.

I have decided to try and came both my historical research and art in at once – in truth I never really had any choice  – so I am not sure when I’ll get time to paint at the moment but at least I’ll be able to sketch and draw.  Initially this morning I thought about a triptych of drawings that I made yesterday and this morning but then I realised that the Michael
