I’m really unsure why this might be and more importantly what it says about me but I enjoyed making the little sketch below of Gamora from the simply wonderful Guardian of the Galaxy (GOTG) movie rather than the more formal portrait above.

I guess the answer to this is the fact that I thought the movie was really good, by far the best of the marvel movie’s to date, at least in my opinion.   Unlike certain movies I could mention it really didn’t seem over long at all.  With out trying to sound too jingoistic but the other Marvel movies that I really like are the Thor series, both of with have a significant British influence.  The first was directed by Sir Kenneth Branagh and the second was made in Britain.   And of course GOTG was made in Britain – so perhaps there must be something in the water.

Whatever the reason if you get the chance then go and see GOTG – I think you’ll find it a lot of fun.
