At the moment I seem to be moving away from trying to make likenesses to some far more powerful imagery.   I have always been influenced by the boxing photography of the early part of the 20th century – I guess it was the way that the limited tones of a black and white print somehow added to the destruction and savagery.  This is what I’ve tried to replicate in this digital painting.

In the past I’ve tried to use the digital environment as an extension of the real world.  However, in this series of images I’m going to make full use of the digital platform to help create the images I want to make.
