How exactly do you post panorama photographs on to a blog? The native setting for any image on the internet should be around 800 px wide, perhaps given the larger screens available this might be slightly higher but then again with the interent being consumed for and more via tablets etc perhaps even less. The the native size of each of these images is a round 5800 px wide – it just doesn’t work that well unless you have some form of software that reads the images and lets you spin around.
So what to so? Well the best solution I’ve come up at the moment is to splice them into three. Not very elegant but it is a solution of sorts.
The app I used was DMD panorama on my iPhone – now I have no idea whether this is good or bad it does seem to work reasonably well, not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, however, as I have no real experience using these types of apps it is a bit difficult to judge.
