I’m starting a new painting – based on a face I saw on TV this afternoon. The woman had wonderfully flowing blonde hair and rosy complexion which immediately made me think of Rubens. Why the Gregorian chant – well I just fancied using this as the background music whilst painting, Not quite Bourque but certainly religious enough on this Holy Day.
