Just how far can I take a copy of a masterpiece using brushes on the iPad? There are so many boundaries to push at here – how do you make a likeness using very simple tools provided in Brushes? Equally are the limitations of these tools more a reflection of my own limitations as an artist? What about the limitations of eyesight?
The image I’m trying to copy is a small post card but in this case that is not such an issue because the actual painting is not that much bigger. So many boundaries to try and cross but perhaps the biggest question or boundary is the simple one why? Why do I want to push the boundaries so much?
Well as I write this it is past midnight and I don’t know I have any answers other than to say it is a fascinating puzzle to try and undo and I have no idea where it will end up.
