It is so depressing how an unelected bunch of place men ( yes they tend to be men) seem to think they are better than an elected bunch of place men( yes they tend to be men).

This will all end up going nowhere because there are too many vested interests ( which retiring MP wouldn’t want to be a lord – John Prescott anyone)

I feel so depressed sometimes about this country.  One final thing…why should there be any bishops in the Lords?
