I’m standing in a field just off the beach with wet feet. The feet are wet due to having to cross a burn to get near to, but not too near, a tern colony. I wasn’t interested in the nesting birds, that would be unlawful , but rather the birds flying to and from the nest site . Hopefully the wet feet will be…just had to put my coat on for a rain shower!
