Well this is my first watercolour using the new paper and I have to say what a difference it makes. The previous paper was out of my sketch book and wasn’t really up to the task. However, this is what experience is all about – you have to keep trying these things until you get them right. The great thing about this is that it is more encouraging than I had thought – but again there is a long way to go before I would consider myself any good. But a step in the right direction.
